A weak left hook.....

I wanted a win tonight, but didn't expect it. It was a good measuring stick and a good reminder to the team that there are other good teams out there that can beat them on any given night. And it's not like we didn't try to win, and we got to the shootout in glorious fashion, but one goal in the shootout is all you need to win or loose. Tallinder is out with a broken wrist, most likely from attempting a sonic face punch (Englewood Jack!, Englewood Jack!) Paestch will get playing time, and he has been touted as "any other teams 3rd or 4th defenceman" by other teams broadcasters, so it will be nice to see him get into the swing of things. Come playoff time, we could use 7(and last year, it was more like 10) solid, NHL defenceman. Mair, Gaustad & Peters did an awesome job of comtrolling the puck in the offensive zone during their shifts and Roy, Afinogenov & Vanek kept up their usual high tempo game. The one bad drop-pass by Afinogenov costing us a goal....look next time Max, this isn't EA sports NHL2007! I'm also proud to announce the 2006 Kenmore Gentlemans Hockey club floor hockey game will take place the afternoon of Sunday, Nov 26th. It will be covered by Hockey Night in Canada. Photos will follow a few days after the game....
