214 area code.....Texas? someone tex-ted me informing me that Gaustad was out for the season around the 1st intermission....WTF dude? I know who it was........A sly M-ther F-ker with a sweet southern lady in Dallas was letting the SABRES-FACE-PUNCH know what was going on as soon as the wave hit! Damn dude, the goose is no longer loose.......that SUCKS!...I have a feeling there is some trading going down this year! Gaustad may make it back right at the end of the playoffs.....Connoly should be back right back before the playoffs....Atlanta and Nashville are making some moves....I think we're gonna see the Sabres make some before the trade deadline. Gaustad=OUT....Connoly=undecided, Spacek=temporarly OUT....Whad-we-gonna-do?.
Calgary gave us a taste of a serious West coast team.....even if they were sponsored by the "wild turkey save of the game".... This COULD be a stanley cup game and we won't be
going to a shootout to win the stanley cup!......So, here's the deal....Gaustad is out....we're expecting Pialle to take his place.....Spacek is out for the for-seeable future....whoever takes his place (Paetsch?) is expected to do his job or better!......the loss of these players can only help us in the playoffs if the players come back. We get a lot of rest between now and Thursday playing Edmonton in Buffalo...We will need to draw up some minor league guys for some upcoming games.....they'll get some seasoning and come this spring, they may just help us out in the depth department....
